- 5 / 5By Angelo RuizIt's easy to see why Baldy's is ranked one of the best BBQ joints in Bend. After dining here, I have to say that their food was absolutely top notch. The pulled pork was moist and flavorful. The brisket was tender and juicy. Both dishes stimulated the taste buds in a euphoric manner with no sauce required. Speaking of sauces, Baldy's original sauce is also tasty, albeit a bit on the spicier side (which, I thought, complemented their meats well). The "Cat's Meow" (their spicy sauce) had kick, however, the taste was not my favorite (must be because I'm a dog person). Also, the sides are delicious and, for BBQ, this place was reasonable. Cute establishment on the west side of town too. I Highly recommend this place. I'd go again!
