  Good food and great milkshakes. Nice place for some classic American dining. All of our service was fantastic. Though the one thing I didn't enjoy about the food was the seasoned fries. They seemed undercooked and oily. I like mine to be crispy that way I don't fell like I'm eating a potato raw. I just can't give it five stars because it didn't have the best food on earth, but damn worth the stop. Mmmmm...

  Appreciated the genuinely friendly reception.
  
  Got called away from being able to finish the patty melt with fries I'd ordered, but don't think I would have, given the bread was served burnt and there wasn't much cheese on it. Grilled onions were pretty tasty, though.
  
  The fries were good, too. Certainly better than the average drive-in.
  
  The owners could benefit to upgrade the old A&W the place is, to provide for a more accommodating environment. Patrons shouldn't have to do it all; there ought to be waitress/waiter service, especially considering the types and larger portions of foods served.
  
  Management needs to do a better job of keeping the booths clean, and the floor as well. The conditions I encountered were uncomfortable ones.
  
  Will, however, give the place another "try" next trip to Bend, to taste the breakfast items.
  
  Hoping the positive recommendations others have passed along to me about the hamburgers prove to be more accurate for bacon and eggs.
