  I love what this place is trying to do, and I think a lot of the food is really very tasty, but here's what it is - when you're standing in front of Joolz, you haven't got room to swing a cat without hitting a half-dozen other restaurants, and quite frankly many of them are tastier. Hell, I think you can even see Mazza from there, where you'll likely find slightly less adventurous middle eastern cuisine (a con in my book but maybe a pro for others) served far more generously for a fraction of the price. I've tried Joolz a few times now and every time I get to the end of the meal I think, "Well that was pretty good, and the portions were so small I could definitely stand some dessert!" and then I get the bill and think, "I will need to go many a week without dessert to afford this." Anyway, I'm sure the tourists love it - bless their hearts - but it's expensive enough trying to live in Bend without you paying for our cutesy downtown equivalent of theme park food.

  Simply delicious. Warm atmosphere and the waiter was genuine. Be sure to try the falafel sandwich! Will definitely be back again!
